Interview with Mohammad Meyzari

Mohammad Meyzari ("MM") interviewed on Tuesday, 17 May.

Could you please tell us about your experience as a designer, artist, architect or creator?

MM : I worked at the university before starting my studies Work in the field of selling building materials as well as interior decoration This activity made me more familiar with the labor market while studying interior design at university This experience in the job market made me continue to work with successful brands such as Babilis and large architecture companies. Until in the last three years I decided to start my own personal brand and started it

How did you become a designer?

MM : I loved interior design and costume design since I was a child, so in high school I decided to study interior design at university. The roots of my taste and talent have been with me since I was a child, and I think that this talent in designing is a God-given blessing.

What are your priorities, technique and style when designing?

MM : Along with design, I am thinking of finding a way to improve the quality of human life Sometimes I find this quality in designing a particular form inspired by nature and sometimes in other ways But I always try to help the environment around me and not harm it.

Which emotions do you feel when designing?

MM : I have always been passionate about design The same enthusiasm of childhood Pure and white And usually when the form is formed and the final product comes out of the mold, I feel like I have a new baby I choose a name for him and always call him my son

What particular aspects of your background shaped you as a designer?

MM : Being emotional helped me a lot to connect with the nature around me and to consider it as my source of inspiration. The gentle spirit made me look around very well and learn many lessons from them

What is your growth path? What are your future plans? What is your dream design project?

MM : have always tried to create different experiences of people accompanying the flame for people My goal in the coming years is to create new and more exciting experiences than this Larger works with larger dimensions for long-term use

What are your advices to designers who are at the beginning of their career?

MM : It's never too late to start And of course you have to spend a lot of time learning Always update their information and strive to be creative Examine the needs of modern human life and make the best designs for them And always keep in mind that their design should not harm nature

You are truly successful as a designer, what do you suggest to fellow designers, artists and architects?

MM : They should avoid designing useless products Products that do not provide good service in the end And always remember to keep an eye on nature

What is your day to day look like?

MM : Every day I start with a great breakfast, then I go to the gym and prepare my body and soul to start. After that, I go to my personal workshop and start making orders with my team. In the middle of the day, I check design sites and new design magazines and update my information. Lunch is eaten with friends and in the workshop And in the afternoon, after a short break, I do things again and at night I try to go out for inspiration from nature.

How do you keep up with latest design trends? To what extent do design trends matter?

MM : I usually use my own method to make my products And I do not use the design methods of other designers And my approach is to look at nature differently and eventually turn it into products This inspiration from nature is not limited to form. It is also inspired by color, smell, texture and feeling

How do you know if a product or project is well designed? How do you define good design?

MM : Good design penetrates the human soul when you see it, and you do not need a special meter to measure it. If a work of art or the design of a product has a good effect on your soul, then its design has been good and successful

How do you decide if your design is ready?

MM : When I feel good and positive by seeing that design

What is your biggest design work?

MM : Zagros is my biggest experience inspired by nature and I am always proud of it

MM : Zaha Hadid

Would you tell us a bit about your lifestyle and culture?

MM : I live in Isfahan One of the cities of Iran A city rich in culture, music, architecture and art. All this has caused me to be involved with this art since I was a child

Would you tell us more about your work culture and business philosophy?

MM : I work with my small team in a personal workshop Working with our team is very enjoyable We always consult about things together and move forward together

What are your philanthropic contributions to society as a designer, artist and architect?

MM : I donate part of my business income to a charity To treat pediatric cancer

What positive experiences you had when you attend the A’ Design Award?

MM : After winning the competition, our products were seen more. More people sent us messages to work with and we got in touch with them
