Interview with Hao-Yun, Chi and Hsing-Hung, Chen

Hao-Yun, Chi and Hsing-Hung, Chen ("HCAHC") interviewed on Monday, 31 October.

Could you please tell us about your experience as a designer, artist, architect or creator?

HCAHC : I am a Ph.D. in Architecture at the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology. I have nearly ten years of experience in the architectural and interior design industry. Yes, for the profession of designers, it is our mission to bring people happiness and emotion.

How did you become a designer?

HCAHC : Besides my education background, passion for architecture and dedication to design

What are your priorities, technique and style when designing?

HCAHC : My design style is mainly based on local history, natural environment, and dialogue with nature and humanity.

Which emotions do you feel when designing?

HCAHC : Enthusiastic and active

What particular aspects of your background shaped you as a designer?

HCAHC : Good communication skills and human-computer interaction skills, XR (VR, AR, MR) applied to design presentation and design review

What is your growth path? What are your future plans? What is your dream design project?

HCAHC : I hope that my passion for my work will continue and that I will be able to produce works that will be known internationally.

What are your advices to designers who are at the beginning of their career?

HCAHC : Keep the passion alive

You are truly successful as a designer, what do you suggest to fellow designers, artists and architects?

HCAHC : In addition to work, don't forget to experience life in depth

What is your day to day look like?

HCAHC : Not busy for the job, and also prepare something for my XR research, Exploring a new self every day

How do you keep up with latest design trends? To what extent do design trends matter?

HCAHC : Read daily of design magazines and design websites

How do you know if a product or project is well designed? How do you define good design?

HCAHC : The first point is aesthetics, followed by practicality, ease of use, and what kind of feeling it will bring to the user.

How do you decide if your design is ready?

HCAHC : Design has no boundaries, creativity has no end point

What is your biggest design work?

HCAHC : Stadium Architecture and Interior Design in China I am very excited by its high freedom and the exquisite visual experience and spatial ambience.

Who is your favourite designer?

HCAHC : Zaha Hadid,Although the master has passed away, his unique works will certainly live on in history, just like Anthony Gordy.

Would you tell us a bit about your lifestyle and culture?

HCAHC : Taipei, Yes, the music, culture could make me creative the different works. USA LA, Researcher, The pursuit of design embodies the progress of living quality. Furthermore, innovative design ideas aim to give spaces better functions, and even improve and optimize the space

Would you tell us more about your work culture and business philosophy?

HCAHC : The essence of architecture is to accommodate more happiness and create more comfortable living value.

What are your philanthropic contributions to society as a designer, artist and architect?

HCAHC : Participate in community activities with friends

HCAHC : There is a very complete award planning, in addition to trophies, certificates, exhibition of works, all the activities are very well arranged
